    Housing Information 
    Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH) gives active service members two options for housing; living on post or finding a home off-post within the community.

    • Once you have orders to move, contact The Housing Services Office (831) 242-7974. They can answer all of your housing questions and provide services such as referrals, resolving tenant-landlord disputes, and guidance for entering lease agreements.

    • Single Soldiers should contact The Unaccompanied Housing Office at (831) 242-7973. 

    • Presidio of Monterey on-post housing is privatized and operated by The Parks at Monterey Bay. Contact the La Mesa Village leasing office at (831) 644-0400 to get started. They offer 2-5 bedroom homes based on pay grade and family size. Some of the home amenities include: Energy efficient appliances, central AC, garage or carport, walk-in closets and more. The community amenities include: two fitness centers, two indoor heated pools and dog parks.
